What does a Pina Colada taste like?
If you could put a laid back beach holiday in a glass – it would taste like a Pina Colada. Sweet, smooth and creamy – the blend of four simple ingredients white rum, coconut cream, pineapple and lime juice. It’s a cocktail that never fails to disappoint – literally everyone will enjoy it, even if they don’t admit it!
Pina Colada Cocktail Recipe
Equipment
- Highball glass
- blender or food processor
Ingredients
- 50 ml white rum
- 50 ml coconut cream
- 50 ml pineapple juice and a pineapple leaf to garnish
- 25 ml fresh lime juice
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream go on, treat yourself
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 maraschino cherry
Instructions
- Add the white rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, vanilla ice cream and ice cubes to a blender or food processor.
- Blend for about 20 seconds or until smooth.
- Pour immediately into a hurricane glass.
- Garnish with a pineapple leaf and maraschino cherry and pretend you're on holiday!
